Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel have been stationed to escort travelers to their trains in a systematic manner, ensuring safety and security.
Western Railway: 98 Special Trains
Western Railway has launched 98 special trains focusing on comfort and hygiene. These trains are equipped with modern facilities, and adequate security is in place to assist passengers throughout their journey.
From Una to Prayagraj:
1.) Travel Dates: January 17 to February 23
2.) Key Stops: Nangal Dam, Anandpur Sahib, Roop Nagar, Morinda, Chandigarh, Ambala Cantt, YamunanagarJagadhri, Saharanpur, Roorkee, Najibabad, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Lucknow, Rae Bareli.
3.) Coaches: 18 coaches, including sleeper, general, and AC three-tier.
4.) Fares: ₹620 for sleeper coaches, ₹1,670 for AC three-tier coaches.
Bookings for these special trains are now open. Passengers can book general coach tickets up to two hours before departure.
North Eastern Railway: Jaynagar to Jhusi
The North Eastern Railway will operate special trains (05285/05286) between Jaynagar and Jhusi on the following dates:
1.) January: 10, 24, 31
2.) February: 1
3.) March: 1
Key stops include Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, and Varanasi.
Several special trains will also operate between key destinations in the South Central Railway region:
1.) Train 7701: Departs from Guntur at 23:00 on January 24 and reaches Azamgarh at 17:15 the following day.
2.) Train 7702: Departs from Azamgarh at 19:45 on January 26, arriving in Guntur by 09:00 the next morning.
3.) Train 7707: Departs from Moula Ali at 23:55 on January 18 and February 21, reaching Azamgarh by 17:15 the next day.
Other special trains include Train 7708, Train 7711, Train 7712, and Train 7719, operating between Moula Ali, Gaya, Azamgarh, and Guntur on select dates in January and February.
Indian Railways has also launched ring rail services connecting major religious cities:
1.) Prayagraj-Ayodhya-Varanasi-Prayagraj
2.) Prayagraj-Sangam Prayag-Jaunpur-Prayag-Prayagraj
3.) Govindpuri-Prayagraj-Chitrakoot-Govindpuri
4.) Jhansi-Govindpuri-Prayagraj-Manikpur-Chitrakoot-Jhansi
